Who is responsible

Steve Harvey is the data controller for personal information processed through OAST.com. You can get in touch or make a privacy request through the contact page.

What is processed

If you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address and message you provide. The website, security services and contact service may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device details, access time, requested pages and signals used to prevent spam or abuse.

Why it is used

Contact information is used to read and respond to your message. Technical information is used to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website. This processing is based mainly on legitimate interests in communicating with visitors and operating a secure website, together with legal obligations where they apply.

Service providers and transfers

Hosting, security and message-delivery providers process the minimum information needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it. If a provider processes information outside the UK, the provider is expected to use an appropriate legal safeguard.

How long information is kept

Messages are retained only while useful for the conversation, administration or a legal requirement, then deleted or anonymised. Technical records follow the relevant provider’s security and operational retention periods.

Cookies and external links

OAST.com does not intentionally place advertising or analytics cookies. Essential technology may be used for secure and reliable delivery. Other websites have their own privacy practices once you follow an external link.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, object to its use or request portability. Use the contact page to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The wider portfolio
